Look at the Mazda 6 and you will quickly notice that there are three different trim levels available. This is ideal as it means that you can pick the sedan that best meets your needs and budget. The only difficulty is trying to figure out which of the trims is the right one for your needs. To help you decide which is for you, consider what each trim offers in terms of features and options. To get you started, some of the information and details are gathered here.

Mazda 6 GX

The base trim level is the GX but it still comes packed with great features and at a reasonable price. Like all other models, it runs on a SkyActiv-G engine, a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder that generates 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. It also comes standard with the SkyActiv-MT 6-speed manual transmission although you can upgrade to the SkyActiv-Drive 6-speed automatic with a Drive Selection Switch and Sport Mode. These features allow for improved fuel economy and improved safety. The upgrades provide for a smoother drive overall. Other key features on the GX trim include the 17-inch alloy wheels, air-conditioning, adjustable front seats that are heated, and cruise control. These additional features allow for a more controlled environment, comfortable seating and consistent driving on long trips.

Entertainment includes AM/FM/HD radio, a CD player with MP3 abilities, 6 speakers, Bluetooth for music and phone, a 7-inch touch-screen in color, automatic volume control, an auxiliary audio input, and 2 USB ports. With these additions you can go hands-free and listen to all your favorite downloaded music or podcasts. The system is simple and easy to use for everyone.

Mazda 6 GS

In terms of engineering, the Mazda 6 GS trim is nearly identical to the GX. The only difference is that the available SkyActiv-Drive automatic transmission also has paddle shifters. This trim also adds Rear Cross Traffic Alerts and Blind Spot Monitoring for advanced safety. Inside, you will notice dual-zone automatic climate controls and an Advanced Keyless Entry System as well. With the added climate control you will have a more comfortable interior and with the Advanced Keyless Entry System lets you in the vehicle even if you lost your keys.

Mazda 6 GT

If you want the absolutely best features you can get, then consider the Mazda 6 GT trim. This top option also adds memory settings for the driver’s seat, LED headlights along with the signature lighting, Bose audio featuring 11 speakers, and 19-inch alloy wheels in high-luster gunmetal. You also get the option of advanced safety features and i-ELOOP regenerative braking. These premium additions increase fuel economy, safety and comfort while driving. You will also see an increase in luxury-end features for an improved overall experience.
